Frequency-dissymmetric parametric sideband generation in a microstructured fiber

We experimentally demonstrate the nonlinear generation of frequency-dissymmetric sidebands by injecting picosecond pump pulses inside the fundamental mode of a silica-core photonic crystal fiber in its normal dispersion regime.
